Who we are.
We
are all ages, all communities and all of us are claimants, or people who
understand what it is to exist on benefit & like to help with form-filling.
We
set up in1981 and have been un-funded all along, except for 2004 when we took a
small grant from the Newham Community Chest. This was to pay the
expenses of our change of address- new stationery, PO Box etc.
We wouldn't want to take regular funding because he who pays the
piper calls the tune and we want to fight for our rights without worrying who we
upset.
